Hello, Everyone, This is Houston Culture Album
Wednesday, July 21, IYF Houston Branch hold a Culture in UOH(University of Houston), Cougar Den. Time was 10AM-7PM(we finished it 5:30PM though)
At first time, we did not have anyone who can prepare Culture, and there were no place to hold a culture, but GOD gave us grace and we found really nice place which is "UOH" and GOD send us 5 Shorten Missionary and they help a lot!
While we prepare Culture Event, We supposed to get cultural material from LA but it canceled, so we should visit embassy and borrow from them. And We went to the H-Mart(Korea Wal - Mart) and Get 600$ donation by GOD's Grace. We realized that GOD want to help us and even if there is hardship, we could go thought it by faith.
So Situation looks impossible, but GOD lead us by grace, and we receive lots of helping hand in very Short Time(Sorry for my bad english)
July 19, we hold a workshop and 15 more students joined and co-pastor from New orleans help our Mind Training, and so many students open their heart, and they help us by booth helper, and photographer, and scratcher(drawing for guests), and ETC. 12 Volunteers helped us and they do these thing with all their heart!
Also Dallas and San Antonio Pastor, and Brother and Sister came and help us by Dance and Setting and Food and MC and Everything. Actually Brother from Dallas did MC, not us, and he did really great MC.
10Am, we prepare everything, but no one came. We waited and some of us went outside and spread fliers, but no one came. But suddenly 30 elementary students visited us and from that time, university students also came and watched our performance. Moreover, there was a Burmy(Miyammar) people came and play great traditional music and dance for us, and they eat lunch with us, so 60 chairs filled with guest, and we was so happy.
And Ceo of Student Activity visited us and saw our performance and open his heart. He brought us Candy Machine and Ice Cream Machine, so we ate it, and enjoyed. Steven(CEO) also gave us sunglasses and T-shirts, and some pencil, we could give guest a little present!
We also introduce our Worldcamp in UCLA , then Steven pay us 100$ right away, and 3 other students apply that day, so we have 4 differents students who want to go to WORLDCAMP in UCLA.
Staff from UOH help us to copy our fliers and they listen our testimony and saw our GNC program Video, and they enjoyed and they want to help us, too.
We could not do this by our own strengh and skill but GOD prepare everything. Thank you for read, and want to say thank to CO-Pastor Jung-Ho-Park, and Elder in LA :D
