Salt Lake City Bible Seminar July 14, 2010

Just as the wheat buds through the cold winter, we could see the work of God at this conference.

Pastor Park transferred the heart he received from God as he said “Salt Lake City has the headquarters of the Mormon Church and there are many people there and it’s very nice. Very nice.” We could see the heart of the servant who wanted to preach the gospel to this city and we were able to take one step forward by receiving strength from the Word that the God’s work is not dependent on the large or small number of men but only the heart that “God will work” is the only condition.

Currently Salt Lake City has no church but a sister is there and preparing a conference and gave much help.

Before the conference, while searching for a location we visited the Adventure Liberty church, and the head pastor David was able to be contacted and he allowed us to use the place and the equipment for us to have the conference.

The guest speaker Young Hyun Yoon said when our thoughts and standards are thrown away the heart of God shown in the Bible flows.

The friend of the sister, Valentine (32 years old) thought we stood in front of God but with the faith to believe that salvation is accomplished by Jesus Christ instead of us, she believed and testified with joy.

Also, the nephew of pastor David, Tony who is 17 years old as he visited his uncle for a short while he attended the conference and as he heard the guest speaker pastor’s words he was able to hear the faith and truth in God that he sought all the time and tasted change inside of his heart.

During the conference the spiritual counseling continued and we as we prepare for the next conference we hope to establish the church quickly.

Although it seems as if the Mormons have covered the city to the extent in which it could even be called a Mormon city, as we see the church’s and the servant’s promise being alive and working the conference was one in which we could see it being changed into the gospel’s flowers and fruits.

For future progress of the gospel in Salt Lake City, we ask for the care and prayers of our brothers and sisters.
